Words From Our Honoree!
I decided to become an honoree because the world needs to know that children get arthritis, too. I can’t tell you how many times I heard “Isn’t that an old person disease?” when people found out I had it. In fact, at the age of 24, I still get this comment from people! I want this misconception remedied so funding for juvenile arthritis research can be granted and an eventual cure found.
